The trip is over. Now write it down.
Every trip fades. Give each day a page while you still remember the light on the water, what you ate, and the wrong turn that turned out right.
Memories Adventures Locations Moments
Days are all you need to start. Places and moments get added as you remember them.
Planned this trip in Trip Planner? Save it there and come back. The days arrive ready to write on.
Open Trip PlannerPick up where you left off. Accepts .tsk or .json files.
One link per line. Paste a column straight out of a spreadsheet if that is where they live.
Anyone who gets home from a trip meaning to write it down, and never does.
Trip Diary stores no media at all. You paste a link to a file you already host, and the diary draws a thumbnail from it:
vm.tiktok.com links the app produces.jpg or .mp4 on your own site, S3, or anywhere elseGive the trip a name and say how long it was: either real dates or just a number of days. That is the whole setup. Everything else gets added as you remember it.
One page per day. Write the day as a whole first, then add the individual moments worth their own paragraph: a walk, a meal, a train ride. Empty days are normal; not every day of a trip needs writing about.
Paste a link to a photo or video you already host. The diary checks the link straight away and shows the picture, so you find out immediately if a file is not shared publicly.
Export a .tsk file, or sign in and save it online. When you are ready, export the whole trip as a blog post in Markdown or HTML and paste it wherever you publish.
A day with three paragraphs and no photos looks complete. Media decorates the writing; it never replaces it.
Your photos stay wherever you already keep them. The diary holds links, not files, and lives in your browser until you choose otherwise.
Already planned the trip in Trip Planner? Bring the days and stops across and start writing on top of them.
Turn the whole trip, one day, or one moment into Markdown or HTML: your words, ready to paste wherever you publish.
One day on screen at a time, with the whole trip listed beside it and a dot showing what is still unwritten.
Trip Diary is available on the free plan. Cloud save and sync across devices need an account.
Write on the plane home. Thumbnails need the network, but the writing never does.
Send the .tsk file to whoever you travelled with, so they can add their own half of the story.

Paste a link to a file you already have online. Nothing is uploaded. The diary only remembers the link.
A direct image link or a Google Drive photo. It becomes the tile picture; the link itself is unchanged.
Your own words, laid out ready to publish. Pick what to include and a format, then copy the text or export the file.
A complete page with the diary's own layout built in: styling included, nothing to link to. Open the exported file in a browser and print it to save a PDF.
